Srinagar, Jan 15: Former chief minister Mehbooba Mufti on Tuesday pitched for talks with militant leadership in Kashmir at an “appropriate time.”
Syed Suhail Bukhari of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) leader, in a tweet said that Mehbooba told reporters that the talks with militants at this juncture were not possible.
“@MehboobaMufti bats for talks with militant leadership at appropriate time. May be not at this juncture, but at an appropriate time even militant leadership should be talked to along with Pakistan and separatists, she told reporters in Anantnag, south Kashmir,” Bukhari tweeted.
