Srinagar, Jan 15: The Joint Resistance Leadership (JRL) on Tuesday condemned the charge-sheet against seven Kashmiri students in the JNU sedition case, saying it will ruin their career.

JRL comprising Syed Ali Geelani, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq and Yasin Malik demanded the withdrawal of the charges.

Taking to Twitter, Mirwaiz said JRL denounces the vindictive politics for electoral gains played by rulers in New Delhi, saying the JNU ‘sedition case’ will ruin the lives and careers of these Kashmiri students.

“Joint Resistance Leadership strongly denounces the vindictive politics for electoral gains played by rulers in New Delhi! charge sheeting students, including 7 Kashmiris Aqeeb, Basharat, Muneeb, Umair, Muneeb, Rayees, Khalid in so called 2016 JNU “sedition” case will ruin their lives and careers !These fictitious charges should immediately be withdrawn!” Mirwaiz Tweeted.
