SKUAST-K organises Webinar event on ‘India First Leadership Talk Series’

SRINAGAR, JANUARY 08: SKUAST-K Innovation Cell under an initiative of Ministry of Human Resource Development organised the first live Webinar event on “India First Leadership Talk Series”.

The live streamed talk was delivered Chairman Mahindra Group by Anand Mahindra was attended by students, faculty along with the Vice Chancellor SKUAST-K Prof. Nazeer Ahmad.

This event made SKUAST-K part of a nation-wide live event held across the Universities and higher Educational Institutes of the country.

Anand Mahindra in his erudite manner responded to the wide ranging questions from students from across the country and shared with them his life experience and particularly the ability to handle failures. He while underlining the importance of competition for modern economies stressed upon the students to look for collaborative competition opportunities in their respective field of specialization.

At the end of the talk Vice Chancellor congratulated the Director Planning & Monitoring, SKUAST-K and his team for organizing the live event and stressed upon the students to be the source of entrepreneurial ideas that would drive the economy of the state and the country in future.

Vice Chancellor further enjoined upon the students to look for innovative entrepreneurial opportunities so as to be part of employment generating agri-business ecosystem than to be job seekers.

It is pertinent to mention here that the event was attended by students and faculty from the Horticulture, Agriculture, Veterinary Sciences, Fisheries, Forestry, Agri Engineering and Sericulture streams.
