15th National Ice Speed Skating Championship to be held at Gulmarg from 30th December

 Gulmarg Dec30 :After concluding Pre-Competition Coaching Camp in Speed Ice Skating the 15th National Ice Speed Skating Championship kick started at GDA Ice Skating Rink at Gulmarg today. The famous Olympic Coach and international skiing athlete Shabir Ahmad Wani inaugurated the morning session of the championship among large gathering of skaters, parents, officials and tourists. Among others A.R Dar, former Distt Youth Services Officer, Hafeeza Hassan International Skier, Prof GurmeetKaur, Muhammad Yusuf, General Secretary WGAJK & ATOAK, Ashraf DijooGen  Secretary J&K Ice Skating Association of J&K, AnjumShafiWani AE-GDA, Ravi Dhillon and S. K Rao, ISAI Coaches were present on the occasion.

 Shri R.K. Gupta, President, Ice Skating Association of India, could not make to the Games but has conveyed his applauds to the organizers, participants, officials and the Gulmarg Development Authority team for excellent organization of the first session successfully. The second session will be held in the evening.
