JAMMU, DECEMBER 29: Joint Director Handloom Development Department Jammu Kanta Devi today convened a meeting to review the functioning of the department in the Jammu Division
During the meeting, the Joint Director discussed the implementation of various schemes/Capex Budget/Cluster Projects being run by the department.
She also reviewed district wise progress under various schemes under Capex budget besides functioning of clusters was also discussed threadbare.
Kanta Devi impressed upon the district officers to work with utmost dedication for promotion and marketing of genuine Handloom products.
She also directed the concerned officers to monitor the progress of clusters and societies and hold awareness programmes and camps for weavers so that maximum benefit of the welfare schemes would percolate to the grass root level.
