Anantnag: Continuing its drive “War against Drugs”, Anantnag police seized more than 20 quintals (2000 kilograms) of fukki during a raid at Sangam.
A police statement said that acting on specific information, a police party of Police Station Bijbehara headed by SHO Bijbehara under the supervision of SSP Anantnag raided the house of Tufail Ahmad Bandh son of Abdul Rahim Bandh resident of Semthan Sangam Bijbehara (owner of Maha Laxmi Daba).
During search of the house, more than 20 Quintals of fukki was recovered.
In this regard a case under relevant sections of law stands registered in Police Station Bijbehara and further investigation is going on, said the statement.
