SHOPIAN, OCTOBER 11: Al Mustafa Educational Trust (AMET) Shopian today organized a grand function to celebrate its annual day wherein District Information Officer Shopian Showkat Ahmad Khan was the chief guest.
On the occasion, students mesmerized the audience by presenting a variety of cultural programmes, Naats, drama, Kashmiri folk dance, Gujjari songs and school Tarana.
Meanwhile, Patron AMET Ghulam Mohiuddin Shah and the Chairman of the trust Khurshid Ahmad Shah presented a detailed description regarding the infrastructure and other facilities being provided to the students in addition to the academic pursuits of the institution.
Speaking on the Occasion, DIO Shopian urged students to work hard, both in academics and sports domain. He said every religion has given importance to the women education and” our endeavor is to carry forward it.”
Among others, the event was attended by the Managing Body of the Trust, Principals, Headmasters of various educational institutions, teaching and non-teaching staff, students and other dignitaries.
Later, the best performing participants were felicitated with the awards by the chief guest.
