Srinagar, Oct 08: A woman was killed and two others seriously injured in a road accident in north Kashmir’s Sopore on Sunday evening.
Reports said that an Alto car (JK05-8807) met with an accident at Sangrama chowk, resulting in injuries to three people.
The injured elderly woman identified as Khatega Begum of Naseem Bagh Srinagar died on way to Pattan hospital, while two other injured persons were referred to Srinagar hospital for advanced treatment.
Meanwhile, police have registered a case in this regard and further investigations have been taken up.
