DEO Bandipora finalizes ULB poll preparedness

BANDIPORA, OCTOBER 06: District Election Officer (DEO) Bandipora, Dr. Shahid Iqbal Choudhary, today finalized preparedness for the first phase of elections to Urban Local Bodies to be held on October 8, 2018.

DEO said that smooth conduct of civic polls is must for involving people at grass root level in decision making.

Among others, Chief Education officer Bandipora besides ROs and AROs were also present.

Later, DEO held meeting with the contestants of Urban Local Bodies in Bandipora. The meeting attended by observers discussed various issues for the peaceful conduct of Municipal Elections on October 08.

It was given out that polling shall start from 7 am to 4 pm in the district.

He stressed upon the contestants to follow set guidelines in letter and spirit.
