The DC further gave directions to Tehsildar and concerned officers for early resolving of any of the land issues by meeting with the concerned landowners.

It is pertinent to mention here that the administration has taken an initiative to make the busy road of Changspa less congested. The road will be narrowed down to a single vehicular road which would provide wider space for footpath and pedestrians. The structural change would add up to the beauty of the green belt making it more people friendly.

DC Lavasa also inspected the ongoing public convenience work at Zangsti which is being built by the administration in collaboration with LEDeG, a Leh based NGO. It was said the solar passive building would be functional even during winters. With large glass window panes, the public convenience would also have a souvenir shop, parking as well as public activity space.

Later, the DC also visited the newly-constructed park near the old Dak-Bungalow. She was accompanied by ADC Moses Kunzang, Administrator MC Leh Rigzin Spalgon, Exen R&B TseringAngchuk, Tehsildar Leh Gyurmet Namgyal, and concerned officials.
