Kanwal sports defeats Royal Cricket Club by 114 runs

Anantnag, Oct 05: Kanwal sports Sports defeated Royal Cricket Club by 114 runs in Mirza Ghalib T20 cricket tournament at Government Degree College Boys Anantnag on Friday here.

Batting first, Kanwal sports smashed the bowling attack of Royal Cricket Club and set a huge target of 206 for its opponents.

After getting a brilliant start from openers, Kanwal Sports started gearing up the innings when Azhar scored 40 runs and soon after losing the first wicket, Mudasir Ahmad powered his way to 82 runs.

Kanwal Sports lost their 3 wickets during the innings of 205 runs in allotted 20 overs of game. Mudasir and Azhar Zubair of Kanwal Sports made half centuries.

While chasing the target of 206 runs, the batting order of Royal Cricket Club and no player could stand in the field.

Soon after losing their openers, Royal Cricket Club lost wickets quickly which stalled their innings and whole team was bundled-out on 92 runs, thereby losing the match by huge margin of 114 runs.

Tabish Ahmad and Imran with 15 and 14 runs were highest scorers for Royal Cricket Club, while as other players could not enter their double figures.

Mudasir Ahmad was awarded Man of the match for his brilliant knock of 82 runs.
