Young Ashajipora defeats MBS Reunited by 55 runs

Anantnag, September 17: In the ongoing Mirza Galib T20 Cricket tournament being held at Government Degree College Boys Anantnag, Young Ashajipora faced MBS Reunited and defeated them by 55 Runs.

Batting first, Young Ashajipora set a total of 133 runs on the scoreboard for the rivals.

Irfan Ahmad of Young Ashajipora scored 26 runs, while as Afaq and Umair scored 18 and 17 runs for their team.

Although the batting performance of Young Ashajipora was not that good but they managed to set the target of 133 runs for which they bundled out the opponents for a paltry score of 78 Runs.

There was a series of catches by Young ashajipora as 9 batsmen of the team were caught out while as only one batsman was dismissed by run-out.

While chasing the target of 133 runs, MBS could withstand against the bowling of Young Ashajipora as their batting collapsed at a paltry score of 78 runs and thereby losing the match by 55 runs.

Rayees scored 15 runs and Zakir with 17 runs was the top scorers for MBS Reunited, while as other batsmen could not enter in their double figures.

Umair Ahmad was awarded Man of the match for scoring 18 Runs and taking 2 wickets in the game.
