Pulwama, August 27: Clashes between forces and protesters erupted in Pulwama main town following circulation of rumours regarding scrapping of Article 35A.
According to eyewitnesses, youth took to streets and started pelting stones on police station.
They said that police fired tear gas shells to disperse the protesters. Meanwhile, shopkeepers in the town closed down their shops.
