GULMARG: Gulmarg MLA Farooq Ahmad Shah on Thursday visited Teran and Panditpora villages under the public outreach programme “Aap Ki Awaaz, Humari Zimmedari”, where he heard residents’ grievances and assured them of taking up their issues with the concerned departments.
Shah inaugurated an additional school building at Panditpora, saying the facility would improve learning conditions and address the need for more classroom space.
He also inspected the proposed Eco Park site at Ferozpora and directed officials to initiate work at the earliest. He said the project could boost local tourism, create livelihood opportunities and promote village tourism in unexplored areas.
Later, Shah chaired a meeting with party workers at Town Hall Kunzer, urging them to strengthen the organisation at the grassroots level and act as a bridge between the public and government authorities to ensure effective grievance redressal.
