Of these, 1,870 works have received administrative approval, while estimates for 96 projects are still pending. Officials said 1,503 works have been tendered and 1,195 allotted for execution.

So far, 175 works have been completed, including 54 ongoing projects and 121 new works.

The meeting was informed that the approved outlay under the Capex Budget stands at ₹47.57 crore, against which ₹22.46 crore is available. An expenditure of ₹2.36 crore has been incurred so far, accounting for about 5 per cent of the approved outlay and 11 per cent of the available funds.

Chib directed all executing agencies to speed up the tendering, allotment and execution of pending works and ensure completion within stipulated timelines while maintaining quality standards.

She also called for regular monitoring of projects, timely removal of implementation bottlenecks and better alignment between physical progress and financial expenditure.

The Deputy Commissioner instructed officers to keep the District Monitoring Portal updated with accurate data and prioritise projects nearing completion so that public assets can be made operational without delay.

Senior officers from engineering and development departments, including superintending engineers, executive engineers, assistant commissioners and other district-level officials, attended the meeting.
