SRINAGAR: Several political and social activists from Srinagar’s Zadibal and Eidgah constituencies joined the Apni Party on Saturday at an event held at the party headquarters in Srinagar.
According to a party statement, the new entrants were welcomed by Apni Party president Syed Mohammad Altaf Bukhari and other senior leaders.
Those who joined the party included former Zadibal councillor Sameena Jaan, Mohammad Iqbal Shah, Sajjad Ahmed Bhat, Tariq Ahmad Zaz, Obaid Mushtaq, Faizan Ahmed Bhat, Hazik Shabir, Irfan Shafiq, Zeeshan Nazir, Raqib Khan, Imran Ahmed Shah, Mohammad Ishfaq, Mohammad Amin Dar, Mohammad Ibrahim, Mushtaq Bhat, Hilal Ahmed, Mohammad Asif, Owais Yousuf, Rahil Dar and Iqbal Shah, among others.
Senior party leaders present at the event included Senior Vice President Ghulam Hassan Mir, General Secretary Rafi Ahmad Mir, Media Advisor Farooq Andrabi, District President Srinagar Zaffer Habib and Zadibal constituency in-charge Tehseen Sahib.
The party said the joining programme was organised at its Srinagar headquarters.
