ANANTNAG: A 15-year-old boy was killed after being hit by a tractor in the Uttersoo area of Shangus in south Kashmir’s Anantnag district on Friday evening.
Officials said the accident occurred at Goswami Wader Brariangan when a tractor, allegedly driven by Gulzar Ahmad Wani, son of Abdul Khaliq Wani of Uttersoo Chanderwaden, struck a bicycle ridden by Muzamil Ahmad, son of Junaid Ahmad Khan of Goswami Wader Brariangan.
The injured boy was rushed to Sub-District Hospital (SDH) Shangus, where doctors declared him brought dead.
Police have taken cognisance of the incident and initiated further proceedings.
