SRINAGAR: Three bodies, including those of a boy and a girl, were recovered from separate water bodies in Kashmir on Monday, officials said.
An unidentified body was recovered from the Jhelum River at Lethpora Barsoo in Awantipora area of Pulwama district. Officials said locals spotted the body floating in the river and informed the police.
A police team reached the spot and initiated legal formalities. The identity of the deceased was yet to be established, officials said.
In a separate incident, the bodies of a boy and a girl were recovered from a hydropower canal in the Thune area of Kangan in central Kashmir’s Ganderbal district.
