Ashok Koul reviews BJP Morchas’ outreach programmes in Kashmir

Srinagar: BJP General Secretary (Organisation), Jammu and Kashmir, Ashok Koul, on Sunday reviewed the functioning and ongoing outreach programmes of the party’s various Morchas during a meeting held at Church Lane in Srinagar.

The meeting, chaired by Koul along with BJP General Secretary J&K Mohammad Anwar Khan, was attended by Waqf Board Chairperson and Minister of State Dr Darakhshan Andrabi, besides senior party leaders and office-bearers.

Representatives of different BJP Morchas briefed the leadership on organisational activities, public outreach initiatives and grassroots programmes being carried out across Jammu and Kashmir. They also shared feedback on their ongoing engagements with various sections of society.

Addressing the meeting, Koul stressed the need to further strengthen the party’s grassroots network and ensure effective implementation of organisational programmes. He urged Morcha leaders to maintain regular public contact, enhance coordination and work with dedication to expand the party’s reach.

He said the Morchas play a vital role in connecting the organisation with different sections of society and carrying the party’s programmes and policies to the people.

The meeting focused on assessing the progress of ongoing initiatives, improving coordination among the Morchas and planning future outreach activities across the Union Territory.
