SRINAGAR: Police arrested a drug peddler in Shopian and recovered contraband substances from his possession.
A police spokesperson said that Mohammad Younis Pampori of Hergam Shopian, was arrested during routine naka checking at Deegam crossing, after approximately 870 grams of cannabis-like substance was recovered from his possession.
A case under the relevant provisions of the NDPS Act has been registered at Police Station Shopian for investigation.
