SOPORE: An unidentified labourer was found dead at his residence in the Hardushiva area of Sopore in north Kashmir’s Baramulla district on Friday, officials said.
An official said the man was shifted to the Sub-District Hospital (SDH), Sopore, after he was found unconscious at his residence. However, doctors declared him brought dead on arrival.
The identity of the deceased is yet to be established. The body has been kept at the hospital mortuary for post-mortem examination.
Police have initiated inquest proceedings. The body will be handed over to the family after completion of legal formalities, officials said.
