Srinagar: Divisional Commissioner Kashmir Anshul Garg on Wednesday reviewed the progress of compassionate appointment cases, public and migrant grievance redressal, revenue appeals, implementation of the SVAMITA scheme and pending land transfer proposals across the Valley.
At a meeting with Deputy Commissioners, Garg directed district administrations to expedite the processing of pending compassionate appointment cases in coordination with the concerned authorities and finalise the list of eligible beneficiaries at the earliest.
He also instructed Deputy Commissioners to ensure time-bound disposal of pending public and migrant grievances, emphasising prompt and effective redressal.
Reviewing revenue administration, the Divisional Commissioner called for expeditious hearing and disposal of revenue appeals by Second Class Magistrates.
On the implementation of the SVAMITA scheme, he directed district administrations to accelerate the generation and distribution of SVAMITA property cards to eligible beneficiaries.
The meeting also reviewed pending land transfer proposals involving various departments and organisations, including the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB), Bharat Scouts and Guides, National Cadet Corps (NCC) Training Camp and other government agencies.
Garg directed the concerned officers to expedite processing of the proposals to ensure timely completion of pending land transfer formalities.
