Shopian: A six-year-old girl was injured after a leopard entered a residential house in the Laitri Wali Behak area of Keller in south Kashmir’s Shopian district on Thursday, officials said.
The leopard reportedly entered the house and attacked the child, identified as Aafia Jan, daughter of Farooq Ahmad Tedwa of Zrakan Shalidar, Keller, leaving her injured.
She was rushed to the District Hospital Shopian, where she is undergoing treatment, officials said.
Police have taken cognisance of the incident and initiated an investigation.
