The DIG also underlined the importance of efficient crowd management to facilitate smooth pilgrim movement and prevent incidents such as stampedes, sabotage attempts, or emergencies. He instructed all agencies to ensure availability of sufficient manpower, emergency response teams, communication facilities, and medical support throughout the pilgrimage route.
Regular inspection and verification of hotels, lodges, guest houses, and homestays were also highlighted as key security measures.
Emphasising the importance of seamless coordination and intelligence sharing among all stakeholders, DIG Sharma called for swift response mechanisms to tackle any emerging challenges.
