He said the administration remains fully prepared to provide logistical assistance and support services, including transport facilitation, accommodation coordination, food and essential supplies, medical assistance and tourist guidance wherever required.

Satish Sharma described tourists as ambassadors of Jammu and Kashmir’s hospitality and culture and said every effort is being made to ensure they feel secure and well-supported throughout their visit.

“The government is committed to providing a safe, welcoming and hassle-free environment for tourists. All departments are working in close coordination to ensure visitors receive timely assistance and necessary facilities without inconvenience,” he said.

Highlighting the importance of tourism for the regional economy, the minister said Jammu and Kashmir continues to attract visitors from across the country and abroad because of its natural beauty, cultural heritage and hospitality.

He added that sustained efforts are underway to strengthen tourism infrastructure, improve transport connectivity, enhance public amenities and promote new tourist destinations.

The minister also interacted individually with several tourists and sought feedback regarding their travel experience and facilities being provided.

He assured them that any genuine concerns brought to the notice of the administration would be addressed promptly.

Satish Sharma further said the government led by Chief Minister Omar Abdullah is focused on creating a tourist-friendly ecosystem aimed at boosting visitor confidence, economic growth and employment generation in the region.
