SRINAGAR, May 06: The Department of Youth Services and Sports, Zone Nehalpora, organised an inter-school zonal-level kabaddi tournament for U-14 boys at BMS Warpora on Tuesday.
The tournament witnessed enthusiastic participation from students of various educational institutions, showcasing teamwork, sportsmanship and competitive spirit.
Government Middle School Kralpora emerged as the winner of the tournament, while Government High School Wailoo secured the runner-up position.
Both teams were awarded certificates in recognition of their performance during the competition.
Officials said the event aimed at promoting discipline, unity and healthy competition among students while encouraging youth participation in sports activities.
The tournament concluded successfully with participants and organisers highlighting the importance of sports in empowering youth and motivating them towards excellence.
