Srinagar: A series of high-level meetings were held at Raj Bhavan on Monday as a Parliamentary panel and a business delegation called on Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha.
In one of the meetings, the Parliamentary Standing Committee on Finance, headed by Bhartruhari Mahtab, called on the Lieutenant Governor at Lok Bhavan.
Later, a delegation of the Associated Chamber of Commerce and Industry Kashmir, led by its President Tariq Ghani, met the Lieutenant Governor and raised various issues concerning the business community.
The ACCIK delegation also congratulated the Lieutenant Governor for the ongoing Nasha Mukt Jammu & Kashmir Abhiyaan and the recent padyatra in Srinagar, appreciating the initiative aimed at building a drug-free society and safeguarding the future of youth.
