JAMMU: Tasaduk Hussain Itoo has been awarded the prestigious Membership of the Royal Society of Biology (MRSB), marking a significant milestone in his academic and professional career.
The Membership of the Royal Society of Biology is an internationally recognised distinction conferred on individuals who have demonstrated excellence, leadership and notable contributions in the biological sciences. The honour acknowledges Dr Itoo’s sustained work in public health, medical education and life sciences research.
Dr Itoo is a graduate in Biology from the University of Kashmir and later pursued medicine from the University of Jammu. He is known for his contributions in areas such as diabetes care, antimicrobial stewardship and public health advocacy.
His international credentials include Fellowship of the Royal Society for Public Health and association with the International Diabetes Federation, among other global medical bodies.
The honour further strengthens his standing as a recognised voice in global health and medical education, bringing recognition to Jammu and Kashmir and contributing to India’s growing presence in international scientific communities.
