The action, police said, is part of the ongoing campaign aimed at dismantling drug networks and discouraging people from becoming involved in narcotics-related activities.

During the searches, police teams examined the houses and other premises linked to the accused in an effort to collect evidence and gather further leads related to drug trafficking.

Police said the drive against narcotics will continue across the district as part of the broader efforts under the Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyaan.
