Prasar Bharati ADG reviews functioning of Akashvani, Doordarshan Srinagar

SRINAGAR: The Additional Director General (North Zone) of Prasar Bharati on Tuesday visited Akashvani Srinagar and Doordarshan Srinagar to review the functioning, infrastructure and facilities at both stations.

The visit was undertaken on the sidelines of the North Zone Engineering Conference of Akashvani and Doordarshan, presently being held in Srinagar.

During the inspection, the Additional Director General assessed the working conditions and reviewed the infrastructure available at both stations. He also inaugurated several new facilities at Akashvani Srinagar.

The senior official was accompanied by H.P. Meena, Deputy Director General and Head of Office, Doordarshan Srinagar, Gurbinder Singh, Head of Office, Akashvani Srinagar, and other senior engineering officers.

Addressing the officers and staff, the Additional Director General expressed satisfaction over the ongoing development and upgradation of facilities at the two stations.

He stressed that serving and entertaining the public should continue to remain the primary objective of Prasar Bharati.

The official also interacted with staff members, listened to their concerns and assured them that the issues raised would be addressed appropriately.
