Giving details about Irrigation and Flood Control works, the Minister said several projects are currently at different stages of execution in the constituency. He added that a list of damaged infrastructure in Kalakote–Sunderbani has been submitted to the Finance Department for consideration.

The Minister also informed that proposals amounting to Rs 226.16 lakh under SASCI have been submitted for I&FC works in the constituency. Separate proposals for additional works have also been sent to the Finance Department.

Javed Rana said the government is committed to ensuring balanced development and equitable distribution of resources across all constituencies and that all projects in Kalakote–Sunderbani are being taken up in a fair manner.

Meanwhile, Minister for Jal Shakti, Forest, Ecology & Environment and Tribal Affairs, Javed Ahmed Rana, informed that Water Supply Scheme for village Dardpora has been taken up under the Jal Jeevan Mission at an approved cost of ₹980.19 lakh.

The Minister said that the scheme, covering 2165 households, is presently under execution with approximately 80 percent physical progress achieved. He stated this while replying to a Calling Attention Motion moved by MLA Mir Saifullah.

Javed Rana said that completion of the scheme for Dardpora will ensure adequate and sustainable drinking water supply to all the panchayat halqas.

The Minister informed that out of the five panchayat halqas of village Dardpora in Trehgam Constituency, Panchayat Halqas C, D and E are presently being provided piped water supply through the existing schemes, namely Panzgam, Reddi Rashi Mohalla and WSS Banjerpati.

However, the panchayat halqas A and B are currently experiencing low service level issues with regard to water supply, which are being addressed through deployment of water tankers.

The Minister further informed that the project is being executed in a time-bound manner with close monitoring to ensure its early completion and delivery of intended benefits to the targeted population.
