School timings revised

Srinagar: The Directorate of School Education Kashmir (DSEK) on Tuesday ordered revision of timings for all government and recognised private schools in the Kashmir division with effect from April 1.

As per the order, schools falling in the Srinagar municipal limits will now function from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, whereas the schools falling outside the municipal limits of the Srinagar district and other areas of the Kashmir division will observe timings from 9:30 AM to 3:30 PM.

The order (119-DSEK of 2026 dated 30.03.2026) directs all the concerned institutions to strictly adhere to the revised timings without any deviation.
