Srinagar: Apni Party has welcomed the Union Cabinet’s approval for the expansion of the civil enclave at Srinagar International Airport at an estimated cost of Rs 1,677 crore.
The party said that such infrastructural development is critical for tourism, economic development, and the overall ease of passengers travelling.
Meanwhile, the party’s Provincial President, Mohammad Ashraf Mir, on Wednesday, urged the Central Government to involve local youth in this prestigious project so that its economic dividends reach the common people as well. Mir was addressing a crucial party meeting today at Srinagar party headquarters. The meeting was attended by leaders and senior workers.
During the meeting, the participants held a thorough discussion and exchanged views on various public issues and grievances in J&K. The leaders also deliberated on important party matters. They reviewed the preparations for the celebration of the party’s upcoming foundation day, which falls on March 8.
