‘Rajouri patient shifted in critical care ambulance’

JAMMU: Deputy Chief Minister Surinder Choudhary today informed the House that Mohammad Arif Maqbool, who sustained serious injuries in a road accident in Rajouri, is being shifted in a critical care ambulance on the advice of doctors.

Earlier, Speaker Legislative Assembly, Abdul Rahim Rather, issued directions for chopper arrangement as MLA Iftikhar Ahmed had raised the issue and sought immediate chopper service for the injured.

Responding to the concern, the Deputy Chief Minister stated that a helicopter was arranged; however, doctors advised against airlifting the patient due to his critical condition.

Acting on medical advice, the government arranged a critical care ambulance, which is being used to shift the injured for advanced treatment.
