MLA Gulmarg chairs sub-division level review meeting at Tangmarg

Tangmarg: MLA Gulmarg, Farooq Ahmad Shah, today chaired a sub-division level review meeting at Townhall Tangmarg to assess the progress of ongoing developmental works and snow clearance operations in the Sub-Division.

The MLA appreciated the efforts of officers and field staff for their dedicated work during recent snowfall in ensuring road connectivity and public convenience.

While chairing the meeting, the MLA stated that this is a public government and the priority is to work for the welfare of the people. He urged all departments to remain active, responsible, and people-friendly.

He reviewed the performance of the R&B Department, stressing timely completion and quality execution of infrastructure projects.

Keeping in view the upcoming holy month of Ramadan, the MLA directed the SDM Gulmarg to convene a separate coordination meeting of all concerned departments to ensure smooth supply of water, electricity, proper market inspections, and essential public services.

He emphasized that people should feel the visible presence of the government on the ground.

The MLA also directed the Education Department to submit a plan for upgradation of educational infrastructure to improve facilities and learning standards.

The meeting was attended by CEO Gulmarg, SDM Gulmarg, SDPO Gulmarg, Tehsildar Tangmarg, Tehsildar Kunzer, and Heads of concerned Departments.
