DIPR organizes essay writing competition, Kavya Singh wins top prize

JAMMU: The Department of Information and Public Relations (DIPR) organized a UT-level essay writing competition on the theme “My Constitution, My Pride” for students below 12 years.

The competition saw an overwhelming participation of young talents, with Kavya Singh securing the first position, Annaya Mahajan getting second, and Arwah Rafiq clinching the third place.

Kavya Singh, the first prize winner, was today felicitated at the Beating Retreat ceremony of the 77th Republic Day at the MA Stadium, Jammu. Similarly, the winners of the Vande Mataram singing competition 2026 from the Jammu division, Arishi Gupta and Nandani Thakur, were also honoured on the occasion.

The event recognised the winners’ achievements and celebrated their talent and patriotism.
