While addressing the meeting, Sat Sharma emphasized that the forthcoming Assembly Session holds critical importance for raising the genuine concerns of the people of Jammu & Kashmir. He asked the BJP MLAs to aggressively question the government and ensure that issues affecting common citizens are forcefully and effectively presented on the floor of the House. He also highlighted the need to remain vigilant on recently surfaced socio-political issues in Jammu & Kashmir. He stressed the need for increased pravas by MLAs, urging them to remain constantly among the people, listen to their problems firsthand, and ensure swift redressal.

Sat Sharma also hailed the Centre’s ₹1430 crore relief package announced to address the losses caused by incessant rains and flash floods in multiple districts of the Jammu region, stating that the liberal assistance reflects the Modi government’s deep commitment to healing the wounds of the affected families.

Ashok Koul, while addressing the legislators, focused on organisational strength and discipline. He stressed that BJP MLAs must play an active and continuous role in strengthening the party structure at the grassroots level. He underlined the importance of enhanced coordination between elected representatives and party workers, calling for daily interaction to ensure that the organisation remains responsive, united, and people-centric.

Surjit Singh Salathia said that BJP legislators are fully prepared to take up both constituency-specific issues and broader matters concerning the entire Union Territory during the Assembly Session. He added that strong public connect and effective representation are the hallmarks of the BJP’s governance philosophy.

During the meeting, MLAs also discussed the issues related to their particular assembly constituencies besides taking up and discussing the broader issues concerning the whole of Jammu and Kashmir.
