Srinagar: Continuing a cherished annual tradition that transcends business, Khyber Cement officially launched its 2026 calendar.

This year’s theme, “Kashmir’s Capital Architecture,” offers a compelling visual narrative of the region’s evolution, from the monumental stone foundations of antiquity to the modern civic complexes of the 20th century.

The 2026 calendar is structured as twelve meticulously curated chapters, capturing how power, faith, and imagination have converged to shape the Valley’s landscape. Each page chronicles the rise and fall of various capitals from Pandrethan, where sacred stone first carried the Valley’s political weight under Emperor Ashoka, to the imperial sunlit stone of Parihaspora and the seven-storey wooden marvels of Nowshera.

“This calendar is an extension of our belief in celebrating the region beyond business,” added Umar Tramboo, Director Corporate & Strategy. “It represents how closely our brand is tied to the soil and culture of the Valley. We believe that true progress is built on a foundation of respect for the past”

For Khyber Cement, the annual calendar has become a highly anticipated cultural milestone that celebrates the region’s identity through thoughtful storytelling. “Our architectural history is a chronicle etched into the landscape,” said Manzoor Ahmad Mir, Head Commercials, Legal & regulatory Affairs Khyber Cement.

The theme resonates deeply with Khyber Cement’s core philosophy of Dil se banao.

The launch event was attended by dignitaries and senior officers of Industries Department, including Hameeda Akhtar (JKAS), General Manager, District Industries Centre, Srinagar, who lauded the initiative for preserving the memory of Kashmir.

Khyber Cement stands as the market leader in Jammu and Kashmir, setting industry benchmarks defined by quality, reliability, and responsibility. Its leadership extends well beyond manufacturing excellence, grounded in sustained contributions to sustainable development and long-standing community engagement. At Khyber Cement, leadership is demonstrated through action rather than assertion. Across diverse spheres including sports, culture, and education, the company has consistently reinforced its commitment to the region, establishing standards that others seek to emulate. Every initiative undertaken by Khyber Cement reflects its enduring belief in building not just for today, but for generations to come.
