Power shutdowns across multiple areas on Nov 15 and 23: KPDCL

SRINAGAR: The Kashmir Power Distribution Corporation Limited (KPDCL) has announced a series of scheduled power shutdowns on November 15 and 23, 2025, to facilitate essential maintenance works on several 33 KV lines.

According to the Chief Engineer, Distribution, KPDCL, shutdown of  33 KV Pampore BK Pora line, 33 KV Budgam SIDCO Tap line will be observed from 10.00 AM to 03.30 PM,  33 KV Alasteng Nagbal line (Gadoora line) from 12.00 Noon to 02.30 PM and 33 KV Nehalpora Markundal line from 09.00 AM to 03.30 PM will be observed due to which BK Pora, Khanda and Summerbugh, Budgam, Gadoora, Tulbagh, Saloora, Markundal, Naidkhai, and Shahgund receiving stations shall remain off while power supply to BK Pora, Khanda, Checkpora, Chatergam, Kenihama, Summerbugh, Wagoora, Wadipora, Aribagh, Chackpora, Budgam, Ompora, Sheikpora, Housing Colony, Ompora, Fatehpora, Gadoora, Tulbagh, Chunduna, Tulbagh, Chunduna, Shairpathri, Kachan, Saloora, Naidkhai, Markundal, Sumbal, Ankhul, Gundboon and adjoining areas will be affected on 15 November, 2025.

Similarly, shutdown of  33 KV Exhibition line will be observed due to which GIS Batamaloo and Tengpora Court Complex receiving stations shall remain off while power supply to Batmaloo, Moominabad Court Complex, Hamdaniya Colony and Nund Reshi Colony will be affected from 10.00 AM to 02.00 PM on November 23, 2025.
