The drive commenced from Police Station Kralgund and culminated at Main Chowk Kralgund, covering the prominent routes and public spaces along the way. Police personnel, members of the civil society, actively participated in the campaign, joining hands to clean public places and raise awareness about the importance of maintaining cleanliness.

During the drive, participants collected and disposed of litter, cleaned roadside areas, and appealed to the community to adopt eco-friendly practices to make the town cleaner and greener.

Officers of Handwara Police, while addressing the participants, emphasised that such initiatives are not one-day events but part of a larger mission that requires the continuous support and cooperation of every citizen. They highlighted that cleanliness, environmental protection, and waste management are collective responsibilities and vital for public health and sustainable living

The local community expressed gratitude and appreciation towards Handwara Police for spearheading the campaign, acknowledging the police’s role not just in ensuring safety and security but also in promoting social and environmental causes.

Handwara Police reiterated its resolve to continue organizing such drives in the future, reinforcing its motto of serving the people through both policing and community-oriented initiatives.
