SRINAGAR, SEPTEMBER 17: Deputy Chief Minister Surinder Choudhary, along with Advisor to the Chief Minister Nasir Aslam Wani, convened a meeting to review the progress on the widening of the Boulevard Project.
The meeting was attended by the Vice Chairman of LCMA, the Chief Engineer, R&B Central Kashmir, the Superintending Engineer, R&B, the Executive Engineers and other senior officers of PWD.
Addressing the officers during the meeting, the Deputy Chief Minister directed the PWD to immediately restart the work on the widening of Boulevard Road, considering its prime importance and vital significance for tourism development. He instructed them to initiate the process on priority and expedite the pace of execution of works.
The Deputy CM directed the concerned executing agency to complete the project in a stipulated time frame while maintaining the quality of work.
The Deputy CM also instructed the Vice Chairman of LCMA to facilitate the concerned executing agency for the smooth implementation of the project.
During the meeting, Chief Engineer (R&B) presented a detailed report and gave a presentation outlining the current status of the projects.
