BJP leadership intensifies outreach in flood-hit areas, assures swift action

Jammu: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Jammu & Kashmir President and former minister Sat Sharma (CA) today led an extensive visit to flood-affected panchayats in Rajpura of Ramgarh Assembly Constituency, reaffirming the BJP’s resolve to stand firmly with the people in this hour of crisis.

Listening patiently to the grievances of local residents, Sharma assured them that the BJP, under the dynamic leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, is committed to ensuring that relief measures are expedited and long-term solutions are implemented without delay.

The team also visited Panchayat Treva, Municipality area Arnia, Chakda, Indira Nagar, and Panchayat Khariyan in the Bishnah Assembly Constituency. At every stop, the leadership gave categorical assurance that the genuine concerns of the flood-affected people would be addressed with urgency by the administration, and necessary relief would be provided.

J&K BJP General Secretary Baldev Singh Billawaria, MLA Dr. Devinder Kumar Manyal, MLA Dr. Rajiv Bhagat, Secretary Arun Sharma, District President Asha Rani, District President Rinku Choudhary, DDC members Shilpa Dubey and Anita, Ex-BDC Chairman Radhey Sham, and Sarpanch Balbir Kour, also joined the visit.

Addressing the gatherings, Sat Sharma said that the BJP under Prime Minister Narendra Modi has demonstrated its commitment to people-centric governance by responding swiftly to calamities and prioritizing the welfare of the common man. He asserted that BJP cadre and leadership are working tirelessly on the ground to ensure that adequate relief, rehabilitation, and compensation are provided at the earliest. He stressed that the government at the Centre is fully aware of the hardships being faced by the border belt and will extend all necessary assistance. He further said that the local leadership of BJP is actively engaged in the relief and rehabilitation operations since the beginning and will not take rest till the needs of all affected people are met.

Dr. Devinder Kumar Manyal said that the BJP has always believed in standing shoulder to shoulder with the people in times of distress. He assured that the concerns raised by the villagers regarding damage to crops, houses, and public infrastructure will be taken up at the right forums to ensure early redressal.

Dr. Rajiv Bhagat also interacted with the people and expressed deep concern over the losses caused by incessant rains and floods. He reiterated that BJP leadership will continue to monitor the situation closely until normalcy is fully restored.
