Nasir, Satish meet public delegations at Nawa-e-Subha

Srinagar: Senior National Conference leader and Advisor to the Chief Minister, Nasir Aslam Wan,i Saturday reaffirmed the government’s unwavering commitment to grassroots engagement and governance.

As part of a broader public outreach initiative, Wani met with a number of public and individual delegations at the party headquarters, Nawa-e-Subha, Srinagar.

Later, he was joined by Minister Satish Sharma.

Speaking on the occasion, Wani said, “Under the clear directions of the Hon’ble Chief Minister, the cabinet ministers along with myself are actively engaging with the public to address their issues on the ground and ensure timely redressal. We are also in regular touch with party functionaries to gather feedback and strengthen the connect between the government and the people.”

The delegations represented various sections of society, including civil society members and party workers, and raised a range of pressing local issues such as infrastructure development, employment opportunities, and public service delivery.

Wani assured the visiting delegations that their concerns would be taken up with the concerned departments for swift and effective resolution. He also personally reached out to relevant officials to expedite the redressal process.

Party leaders and functionaries, including Provincial President Kashmir Showkat Mir, MLAs Salman Ali Sagar, Shameema Firdous, Nazir Ahmad Khan Gurezi, Provincial Secretary Syed Tawqeer, District President Peer Afaq Ahmad, State Spokesperson Imran Nabi Dar, Provincial President Women’s Wing Er. Sabiya Qadri, SM Incharge, Ifra Jan, YNC Provincial President Mir Mushtaq, Minority Wing Convenor Sardar J.S. Azad were also present.
