On the written complaint of Bachan Lal of Suchetgarh, a case against Kumar of village Khamb, R S Pura was registered for getting a job in J&K School Education Department as Rahber-e-Taleem (ReT) teacher in 2004 by using a forged permanent residence certificate (PRC), officials said.

According to a separate written complaint, teacher Ghulam Hassan Naik of Khari village in Ramban district is accused of manipulating school records to ensure the selection of his illiterate daughter Shakeela Bano as AWW, the officials added.

According to the complaint, Naik was born on December 6, 1966, and his daughter’s recorded date of birth was January 1, 1976 — father and daughter having an age difference of nine years and 26 days only.
