Srinagar: The Jammu Kashmir Democratic Freedom Party (JKDFP) has termed the continuous killings in Kashmir as part of a ‘well planned genocide’ and added that the struggle of Kashmiri people for their political rights continues despite all such ‘brutal tactics’ since 1931.

In a press release issued here, the Secretary General of JKDFP, Moulana Mohammad Abdullah Tari expressed deep concern over the brutal killing of one more unarmed civilian namely Tamsheel Ahmad Khan in Shopian by government forces and injuring of around 150 protesters by firing bullets and pellets on them. “Such type of a situation is enough to understand the policy of New Delhi which is to wipe out the whole pro-freedom generation. This genocide which is part of a long term Indian policy is aimed at crushing the political sentiments in the disputed region,” he was quoted as saying by the press release.
