SRINAGAR: Several delegations and individuals called on Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha on Monday and discussed a range of issues concerning students and public affairs.
A delegation of the J&K Iran Medical Students Parents Association (JKIMSPA), led by its president Suhail Qadri, met the Lieutenant Governor and raised issues concerning students pursuing MBBS courses in various universities in Iran.
In a separate meeting, writer and filmmaker Rajesh Raja called on the Lieutenant Governor and presented a brief synopsis of his upcoming feature film, “Tulsi”, which is based on the theme of narco-terrorism.
Meanwhile, former president of the Municipal Committee Dooru-Verinag and Chairman of the Coordination Committee J&K, Mohd Iqbal Ahanger, also met the Lieutenant Governor and discussed matters of public importance.
The meetings formed part of the Lieutenant Governor’s ongoing interactions with representatives of various organisations and individuals from different sectors.
