VC DDC Kupwara reviews ongoing developmental works

KUPWARA: Vice Chairman, District Development Council (VC-DDC) Kupwara, Haji Farooq Ahmad Mir today chaired a meeting of concerned officers and officials at RDD Complex Kupwara to review the progress of various ongoing developmental works in DDC Constituency Wavoora.

Chief Executive Officer DDC Kupwara, Mufti Fareed-u-Din; ACD Kupwara, Muzaffar Ahmad; Executive Engineers of REW & PHE, besides, officers from R&B, I&FC, KPDCL, DYSSO, BDO, AEEs, JEs, Panchayat Secretaries and other concerned officials were present in the meeting.

On the occasion, the Vice Chairman impressed upon the officers to speed up the execution of all ongoing developmental works in Wavoora DDC constituency to ensure the works are completed well in time.

He took detailed review of various works under R&B, PHE, SMAGRA, Rural Development, besides, he also took stock of progress on the construction of Kuligam Stadium and directed the concerned officers to gear up their men and machinery for completion of these projects which will fulfill the long pending demand of the people living in far flung areas of Lolab.

Earlier, the Vice Chairman was briefed on the progress of various development schemes, including 14th F.C, MGNREGA, SBM, PMAY, B2V and other allied schemes. He also reviewed the works under DDC, BDC and PRI grants 2024-25.

He emphasized the importance of completing these projects on schedule and ensuring that they meet the needs of local communities. He directed the concerned officers to release of pending payment of material and labour to the beneficiaries.
