DC Ganderbal for timely completion of preparations for SANJY-2025

GANDERBAL: Deputy Commissioner (DC) Ganderbal, Jatin Kishore, today presided over a significant preparatory meeting at the VC Room, Mini Secretariat Ganderbal, for the upcoming Shri Amarnath Ji Yatra-2025 (SANJY).

The meeting focused on reviewing the progress of ongoing works of various departments involved in the arrangements for the Yatra via the Baltal route.

A comprehensive review of department-wise action plans, covering key aspects such as sanitation, flood protection measures, lighting arrangements, mobile network connectivity, issuance of RFID cards, registration of service providers and infrastructure development was held.

Heads of departments presented detailed updates on the progress of work and preparations underway.

DC stressed the importance of timely completion of works well before the commencement of the yatra to ensure a seamless SANJY-2025.

Labour Department was directed to accelerate the registration process of service providers involved in Yatra-related activities.

Telecom companies were instructed to ensure complete network connectivity by the end of this month to facilitate communication and digital services during the Yatra.

The meeting was attended by the Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC), Syed Fahim Bihaqi; ACP, CEO SDA, SDM Kangan, Executive Engineers from various departments, Divisional Forest Officer Sindh Forest Division, and senior officers from line departments involved in the Yatra arrangements.
