Heavy shelling by Pak troops along LoC in J&K, mother-daughter duo injured

Jammu: At least three people were killed after Pak resorted to heavy shelling in the Poonch Sector on Wednesday.

Officials told GNS that during overnight heavy shelling by Pakistan in the Poonch area, three people were killed and also forest office Poonch are destroyed.

The three deceased have been identified as Mohd Adil son of Shaheen Noor, Saleem Hussain son of Altaf Hussain and Ruby Kour wife of Shallu Singh.

Army also also in a statement said that During the night of 06-07 May 2025, Pakistan Army resorted to arbitrary firing including Artillery shelling from posts across the Line of Control and IB opposite J&K.

Three innocent civilians lost their lives in indiscriminate firing/shelling. Indian Army are responding in proportionate manner.
