GANDERBAL , JULY 5 Deputy Commissioner Ganderbal Dr. Piyush Singla along with SSP Ganderbal Fayaz Ahmad took extensive tour of Baltal Camp and reviewed the latest positioning of all departments with respect to incessant rains.
To have a firsthand experience of track status and to monitor rescue operations both went personally to the track and conducted inspection.
R&B dept was directed to do necessary restoration work besides clearing of Landslide muck at earliest. DC directed sanitation staff to ensure highest standards of sanitation in base camp. He also visited Baltal base hospital to review medical response facilities in place.
